STAIN GLASS DOME DESIGNED BY LAURA MCCREE

Designing is for me part of being an Interior Designer.  Not just picking products out of a brochure.  To create or in this case, re create. When I took on this project at the end of 2009, re creating what was once there was one of the main attraction to this project.  I thoroughly enjoyed designing the main attraction of the properties hall stairs and landing, The stain Glass dome. Learning how the piece's of glass connected together with the lead frame enabled me to work with the colour and various textures of glass to create this amazing jewel like designed stain glass dome.

Private Client of Laura McCree requested for a bar area to be designed & installed into their rented accommodation in Prestbury Cheshire. Laura had to come up with a Design that could be easily installed and used whilst her client was living in the rented house...with the idea of when the client moves into their new home in London ...the bar can easily be re installed into the new home.

The main frame of tall unit and free standing bar are made from Ash with a smoked Oak finish combined with tinted Grey mirror wrapped around the free standing bar and the effortless sliding door ...this bar area looks stylish - Glamorous without consuming to much space

The quality of craftsman's ship is truly excellent ...outstanding in Design and quality this bar area will truly stand the test of time.

To enhance the elements used in the structure of the bar ...Laura combined a bespoke leather manufactured by a Greek tannery for the bar stool {also designed by Laura} and an funky but casual arrangement of Footstools
